Today I am sharing a layout entitled 'Catching Crabs'. This photo was taken last summer and was our first successful attempt at catching crabs on the dockside. I used variety of paper from Echo Park, Simple Stories and Kaisercraft and bits from my stash (I must get better at knowing where the bits have come from!) Anyway, I tend to scrapbook along a theme and the theme tends to influence my colour and embellishment choices. Here I've stuck with blue as we were by the harbour and the orange as a pop of colour like on my son's hat!

I have recently discovered enamel dots so they tend to pop up on all my layouts at the moment and I can always find room for a few brads. I also managed to incorporate some blue net/mesh underneath the photographs.

I love using film strip embellishments - I have lots of different ones - this one is from an old Basic Grey set I think.

I like to ink the edges of Cardstock and patterned paper too!

I really like the colour combination on this one!

Have a lovely, crafty day!
