Go and See What You Can Find!

So this one was made for Mix Up that Song over on Facebook. This month's challenge was to use the song 'In the Summer Time' by Mungo Jerry. I had a listen to the lyrics and chose the words 'go and see what you can find' as my inspiration and this is what I made!

I started by using the word stencil I made with black acrylic paint onto white cardstock. I then alternated the colours of cardstock to get that offset look.

I used TCW Light and Fluffy modelling paste with a different stencil on the black cardstock to give another bit of interest on the page.

I made the title using a variety of foam and enamelled Thickers and an ampersand from Bramble Fox.

I used washi tape and border pieces from Bramble Fox on the top and bottom corners of the page.

I backed the photo using a few scraps from my stash, added a photo overlay from Kaisercraft and a small acrylic arrow.
